Experience: Greenpeace 20 Mile Swim by Genette

Greenpeace is a charity that’s close to my heart, and one day I would love to join the crew on the iconic Rainbow Warrior to be part of making real change on the frontlines. To support their work, I set myself the challenge of swimming 20 miles — a mix of sea pools, open ocean swims, and local indoor pools across Cornwall, The Lakes, and France — and tracked every stroke on my Garmin. It was a personal journey of endurance, but also a way of contributing to the bigger fight for our planet, raising funds for Greenpeace’s vital campaigns to protect the oceans, tackle climate change, and defend communities and ecosystems around the world.
