Genette is an Environment & Justice Director with a multidisciplinary background spanning research, design, sustainability, and education. She brings a values-led approach to systems change through creative, strategic, and justice-centered leadership.

With 20 years of academic and industry experience in design and sustainability achieving a First Class BA (Hons) Degree and Master of Arts Degree with Distinction and research active towards an Environment and Justice PhD.

Genette’s professional background is in fashion design, designing apparel and accessories for international brands like Red Bull, Liberty London, Selfridges, ASOS, National Basketball Association (NBA), Major League Baseball (MLB), National Football League (NFL), National Hockey League (NHL) and many more.

Her sustainability journey began as a designer where I learnt linear systems, frameworks and processes across the supply chain in production, sourcing, materials, treatments and waste contributing on mass to the Anthropocene Epoch.

This experience led her into climate work namely Impact Consultancy, Circular Design, Sustainable Futures, and Climate Justice Education working towards the transition of the Symbiocene Era.

Genette is passionate about climate activism and social justice, with a love for adventure, van life, cabins, outdoor swimming and bikes. She is on a mission to influence, educate and positively impact people’s lives and environments in and around the climate emergency. Empowering optimism, simplicity and achievable environmental action.
