Genette is an Environment & Justice Director with 20 years’ professional experience in Design & Sustainability — working
at the intersection of Design, Environment, Justice, and Futures.
She brings a values-led approach to systems change through creative, strategic, and justice-centered leadership.

With 20 years of academic and industry experience in design and sustainability achieving a First Class BA (Hons) Degree and Master of Arts Degree with Distinction and research active towards an Environment and Justice PhD.

Genette’s professional background is in fashion design, designing apparel and accessories for international brands like Red Bull, Liberty London, Selfridges, ASOS, National Basketball Association (NBA), Major League Baseball (MLB), National Football League (NFL), National Hockey League (NHL) and many more.

Her sustainability journey began as a designer where she learnt linear systems, frameworks and processes across the supply chain in production, sourcing, materials, treatments and waste contributing on mass to the Anthropocene Epoch.

Her education, research & professional experience led her into climate work namely climate mitigation, adaptation, education, community & collaboration working towards a just transition.

Genette is passionate about climate activism and social justice, with a love for adventure, cabins, outdoor swimming and photography.
